A very picturesque part of the River Nene, hardly fished, the 1.5 mile stretch starts at a small weir pool and winds its way round the complex.
Please view slideshow below .
The river offers some superb features including reed beds along the banks, bays, slacks and overhanging trees which all combined make an idyllic fishing venue.
Our stretch of the Nene is very lightly fished and consequently little is known of the stock in this stretch, but it has produced carp to 25lb+, chub to a whacking 5lb, numerous pike to 20lb+ and large mixed bags to pleasure anglers.
The Nene has a reputation for throwing up real suprises. Who knows what may have found its way into this stretch, as it is surrounded by some of the oldest stocked lakes in Northamptonshire.
A real challange to any pioneering angler who wishes to fish for the unknown

Fishing On The Nene
Our 1.5 mile stretch of the river is strictly reserved for members only and can provide some superb fishing in peaceful settings.
Our stretch is very secluded compared to some stretches of this famous river and once there you shouldnt be disturbed by unwanted visitors
The River Nene is very well known amongst the fishing community and has a bit of a reputation for producing quality BIG fish.
In June 2002 the Nene produced its first 40lb Carp in the shape of a 41lb 4oz common from another stretch of the river near Peterborough, so there is every possibility that simiar fish could find their way into our stretch.
